About this Blog

This blog contains articles and updates about the fascinating world of Energy Psychology — a new branch of psychology which studies the human energetic matrix, consisting of the acupuncture meridians, chakra system and biofield, underlying human cognition, affect and behavior.   Just as no man is an island, no field of study is an orphan.  EP arose from and thrives in a rich contextual soil, cross-fertilized by many disciplines, including Applied Kinesiology, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Western Psychology, and Eastern Spiritual traditions.

It is our intention that this blog will serve as a bridge between alternative and traditional therapies and modalities. ACEP as an organization sees complementary and integrative therapies working together with traditional allopathic medicine for the good of mankind.

This blog will thus seek to be inclusive and expansive,  and will highlight both traditional and alternative techniques which treat stress, anxiety and depression, emotional and health conditions, as well as the myriad of other afflictions that contribute to a less-than-joyful human experience. Energy therapies can also facilitate notable improvements in communication, performance, relationships, health and wellness, and spirituality.

The goal of this blog is to catalyze communication and further discussions about Energy Psychology, Energy Medicine and related modalities, in order to raise awareness, alleviate suffering, and assist people in living happy, healthy, meaningful lives.

  1. The whole Mind/Body is overlooked by the therapeutic class. As my journey has showed me trauma is also stored in the body not just the amygdala. In fact my body trauma was the last to integrate.

Great information and compassion on your blog.

  2. Great article
